Моделирование сигналов импульсно-доплеровского радиолокатора при наблюдении неоднородных метеообразований
Аннотация
The work is devoted to the development of a methodology for simulation Doppler meteorological radar signals. The proposed methodology includes three stages. At the first stage, a mathematical model of meteor formation is being developed, which is based on the use of two types of fields – scalar and vector. The scalar field defines the spatial distribution function of the reflectivity of meteor formation in a given area, and the vector field defines the distribution function of the velocity vector. The second stage consists in simulation the reflected signal from the meteorological formation, which is represented as a set of point reflectors. At this stage, the basic properties of radar signals are determined, which are used in the third stage of simulation. As a result of the third stage of simulation, a two-dimensional matrix of digital samples (values of the complex envelope) of signals in azimuth-range coordinates is formed. At this stage, a simulation model of reflected signals is introduced, which is proposed to use a random narrowband process, the central frequency of which is equal to the average Doppler frequency of the meteorological formation signal. Examples of weather formation models and their corresponding reflected signals are given for each stage of the simulation. The results of simulation the complex envelope of signals at the second and third stages are presented in the form of realizations of random processes at specified values of weather formation parameters and radar characteristics.
