The journal policy

The main goal of the publication is to let the wide range of the members of scientific community to exchange on the international level the information about the results of the research in the field of the theory and practice of the application of radiotechnical and telecommunication systems, discussion of the practical issues of the their construction, exploitation in different conditions, including complex usage.

The main goal is achieved by the following tasks:
•    All-round and complex analysis of the local and international experience of development and application of the radiotechnical and telecommunication systems
•    The interaction of the scientists and engineers in terms of the practical application of the systems, using the results of their separated and complex usage;
•     Development of the international cooperation to make sure the existing ones and the systems under development correspond to the international standards and regulations of the application of the received results;
•    Support of the participation of the young scientists in research works, providing the opportunities for the common discussion of the results of their research.

The magazine “Radio and telecommunication systems” is one of those few Russian magazines in radio technics which cover the whole range of the scientific directions under the general name “Radio technics and connection”.

The main sections of the wide range of scientific and technical questions which appear in radio and telecommunication systems (RTS and ТCS) and which can be presented in the magazine are:
• radar, radio navigating and television systems and devices;
• networks, systems and devices of telecommunications of various types;
• antennas, microwave devices and their technologies for a radar, radio navigation, television and telecommunications;
• methods of synthesis and analysis of radio and telecommunication devices and systems, algorithms of their functioning;
• generating, amplification, transformation of signals in RTS and ТCS;
• methods of encoding, processing and displaying of information in RTS and ТCS;
• digital signal and image processing in RTS and ТCS;
• management of processes, systems and objects with use of radio aids;
• working out and design methods of radio and telecommunication devices,
• modeling of  signals, hindrances and devices of their processing in RTS and ТCS;
• estimations of efficiency of functioning of RTS and ТCS;
• problems of education and training of professionals in the field of RTS and ТCS.

The magazine is created based on the All-Russian collection “Methods and devices of information transmission”, which had been issued by The Murom Institute of The Vladimir State University from 2001 until 2010. The first magazine was issued in 2011.

The magazine is included into the list of the publications acknowledged by the Higher certifying commission of the Ministery of Education and Science of Russian Federation, that allows the applicants for the scientific degree to share their research results with the scientific community and discuss their ideas and the results of their practical applications.

This magazine is for the wide range of scientists, university teachers or aspirants. In some cases the researches of the undergraduate students which have the relevant reference of the research supervisor and have passed the reviewing procedure can be published.

Only original articles which haven't been published before in other magazines can be subject for publication. By sending the manuscript to the editorial board the author automatically agrees not to publish it either fully or partially in any other issues without the approval of the editorial board.

The articles of the magazine are included into the Russian index of scientific citing (RISC),  the database of the All-Russian Institute of The Scientific and Technical Information of the Russian Science Academy, global serials directory ULRICHSWEB, international bibliographical database INSPEC.

Besides, the magazine can present the general information about the solutions for the improvement of the systems and devices, scientific events, technical novelties, the overviews of the activities of enterprises, construction bureaus, separate research teams.

The editorial board of the magazine consists of the competent representatives of science and practice in the area of radiotechnics, that allows to provide the highest level of the review and evaluation of the incoming articles. The editorial board has 22 members, among them 20 doctors of science, 2 candidates of science, including 3 foreign specialists from Azerbaijan, Ukraine and USA.
