The rules of execution

The articles submitted for the publication in the magazines "Radio and telecommunication systems" and "Methods and devices of transmitting and processing of information" should correspond to the following typography rules:

• the volume of articles should be from 3 to 10 pages of A4-format;


• the article text should be proofread carefully and signed by the author who is responsible for the scientific and theoretical levels of the published material;

• the pagination is obligatory;

• the basic text of article should be typed in two columns, each one 76 mm width and a 8mm interval between them, font – Times New Roman, font size – 11 pt., line spacing – 1.25, justified; all margins – 25 mm;

• drawings in scale 1:1 should be made strictly in one of two sizes: 76 mm wide (to be located within one column), or 160 mm wide (to be located within two columns); the height of drawings is defined by the authors; lettering in the drawings should be performed in Times New Roman, 10 pt. It is allowed to create drawings in MS Word and MS Excel tools or insert graphic files (formats TIF, JPG) with the resolution of at least 300x300 dpi into the text. All drawings should be done in grayscale. Picture captions should be done in Times New Roman, 10 pt, centered, the text “Fig. 1” should be typed in bold, the drawing name – in a usual font;

• the width of the tables should also be either 76mm or 160mm. The tables should be located in the center of the text. The name of the table (Table 1) should be placed above the table without any empty lines, left alignment. All the tables should be created with the help of the standard options of MSWord. The text inside the table should be of 10pt;

• formulas should be created only as Equation Editor 3.0 objects and located either in the text of the paragraph, or in separate lines. In the latter case it is necessary to have the indentation of 5 mm. The formulas which are referred to later in the text should be numbered; their numbers should be set to the right of the formulas in parentheses, right alignment. The following sizes should be used when creating complex formulas in Equation Editor 3.0: Normal – 11 pt., Large index – 7 pt, Small index – 5 pt., Large character - 17 pt., Minor characters - 11 pt.). Formula font – Times New Roman. It is better, if formulas do not exceed 76mm width.

• the References list, completed according to GOST R 7.0.5 – 2008, should be placed at the end of the article. The references to the literary sources should be arranged in the same order as they are mentioned in the text;

• references are given in square brackets in the text;

• the article should be presented in electronic form (in JPG format with the authors’ signatures and in MS Word format) by e-mail.
